It is a great quiz.I like it very much.
Not bad 2out of 8 only one guess the answer hahaha
1 out of 8…lol
I hope you aren’t too discouraged with the result! You can always try again.
6 out of eight, but i guessed at some by breaking down the words. And of course some of the answers were cute, not serious. Give me those words without multiple choice and I probably wouldnt get one right. I really thought the ortanique was a pergola. lol and deglutition was taking out gluten.. shrugs. this was hard but really awesome.
I wondered if I’d catch anyone with the “gluten” one! Glad you enjoyed it, and congratulations on a great score!
Wow. I think this is harder than my licensure exams. Hahaha. It’s good to know new words but I don’t think I’m gonna remember any of them. Lol!
I think it takes time and exposure. You could learn the words by repetition.
wut 2 out of 8. whaha
I think you will learn the words easily. you should try again in a day or two and see if the result is better!
Great Greek that cracked my brain
Your quizzes are tough too! We can challenge one another.
Unfortunately, I’m not very good in vocabularies.?
I love words. But I have played with such things since I started primary school. It takes time to learn!
i only got 1 right.
These were really tough words. Which one did you know already?
Got 3 out of 8 right!
That’s excellent, especially if English isn’t your first language. Congrats!
I thought I could make it better
Don’t be too hard on yourself. It was a super hard quiz!
That was awesome! I wish I could say that I’ve learnt something new but most probably I won’t be able to memorize any of these words. (2/8)
Maybe I will turn some of the answers into a post to help people learn why the words mean what they mean. Do you think that would interest you, Ellie?
4 out of 8, and I think I was lucky! Not one was I sure of. And for bindlestiff I clicked on the one beside the one I meant – and got it right 😀 This quiz is really well put together. I hope you’ll make more!
Oh wow, I’ve had that happen too! Some of these quizzes really kill me…
I will definitely try to make more like this one, especially of I know people enjoy it.
By a process of elimination I managed to guess 5 correctly. Never heard of any of these words before 🙂
I guess I was good at picking hard words! I knew a few but most were also new to me.
I did pathetic, got 2 out of 8
Don’t let it get you down. Not sure how well I would have done without my dictionary!
