As we know the universe is an immense and infinite space for the human race still unexplored and mysterious. We still know very little about the universe. In this post I will share with you some interesting facts about the universe.
- It takes eight and a half minutes for the light to come from the Sun to the Earth.
- Jupiter’s moon Ganymede is bigger than the planet Mercury.
- More than 20 million meteors enter the Earth’s atmosphere every day.
- About 41 percent of the Moon’s surface is not visible from Earth.
- While in the universe, astronauts can not cry because there is no gravity, so tears do not fall down the face.
- How in the universe there is no atmosphere, the universe will forever remain eerily quiet.
- The sun has so much density that it represents actually 99 percent of the mass in system that governs.
- More energy from the Sun falls on Earth in an hour than the whole planet spends in a year.
- If two pieces of the same metal are touched in the universe, they will be permanently united and remain like that forever.
- The largest asteroid ever recorded is the mammoth space rock which astronomers call Ceres.
Another interesting post, I didn’t know some of these facts!
when you consider all the radio waves bouncing around the universe, it is far from silent…
this is a great information about the science nature and the universe thanks a lot for sharing.
informative and interesting
Very interesting information.I love everything that has to do with the universe.
This one is very cool… If two pieces of the same metal are touched in the universe, they will be permanently united and remain like that forever.
Well I’m glad it doesn’t happen in my cutlery drawer!!
Very informative facts…good job 😉
It’s very interesting facts… I didn’t know falling of tears got to do with gravity…
My son love s everything that has to do with the universe, you gave me nice info to share with him.
Very interesting information, Lejla, some of which was new to me. I particularly like: “More energy from the Sun falls on Earth in an hour than the whole planet spends in a year.” It gives hope that somehow we will find a way to save ourselves from fossil fuel hell.
But this one I can’t grasp: “If two pieces of the same metal are touched in the universe, they will be permanently united and remain like that forever.” It doesn’t seem to work here, and this is part of the universe, no? 🙂
that one confused me as well
