“We catfish aren’t graceful nor any too bright.
Unruly whiskers, and a face full, mirror me a nightly fright.
Butts in mud when days full, then, sifting silt for bites at night,
yet, some think we’re tasteful and need a nifty lilt to tilt sight more right.
We are SO NOT delicious, despite what you think.
Sandy skin and a vicious, quite indescribable stink.
Your tarter n’ relish will bubble, shrivel and shrink,
when we start our hellish smell of drivel from the drink.
The water we’re in is toxically stricken.
Unfit for fodder when grins obnoxiously quicken.
You oughter give in or your caboose and engine thicken
’til you’re brought to the decision that ensues you stickin’ to chicken.
I knew that there was such a thing, but I never ate.
Every fish in the sea thanks you for that sentimentality! Grin.
Made quite a case against taking a bite, you know this faerie likes her food light, and I doubt the Fish’ll go down without a good fight, so the future does look the brightest of bright 😀 ♥♥♥
Thanks my good fairy, and your precisely right. You would never add to my plight. Why some would eat a catfish ain’t right, for sure one like me who’s just black and white. Bubbles ad swim…quickly..>-=^;>
Nice post.
How do I tell you, fish brother, I include someone who likes to eat fried catfish, it tastes very tasty, eaten with chili sauce… waw…! But did I become a cannibal for eating you?
In my country, catfish includes fish that have long been farmed well, very widely developed, and very popular.
Um, yes, well, you would not be first. Fact is, I too, have partaken of my family recipe, and family…Grin. No objection to farmed, don’t eat my wild cousins! Grin, SpLaSh! n’ tail fin…>
Your wild cousins, O’ I wouldn’t dare!!!
I knew there was such thing as catfish but I’ve never ate it before.
It tastes like septic silt, really! Grin.
LOL This is great! I’ve never eaten catfish so I can’t say anything about the taste 😀
How kind! Lets keep it that way…Grin. >-=^;>!
