Interesting follow up on a few things I’ve shared recently. The first is the reality of advertising and the claims of the fastest in-home wifi. If the wifi offered by your internet provider is not Wifi6 (or Wifi-6 or Wifi 6), then it is not the fastest in-home wireless network in your home!
Follow up number two; I choose not to accept my friends ask to the only comment on the posts of people that comment on my posts. I did take his counter-proposal. We shall see how that works out. We are getting more and more new posts on the site, which is always a good thing. If we can get -20 to 25 or more posts per day, we should start seeing some momentum on the site and tracking the sharing os caring [psts. And sp far too; seeming between 15-30 mew views added from when I visit the post for the first time (or again) based on the Sharing is a caring job. That continues to help any author that is shared in the sharing is caring challenge – so to those of you doing that – thank you!
We are at 18 days with no new posts for those awaiting moderation. Please send another message to the admin team; the more new positions we have, the better the site will be. Also, please take the time to report any post that is racist or using hate speech. Those really shouldn’t be on a writing site; those should be on the delightful conspiracy sites. That way, the rest of us can stay away from them.
I will end today with a peek over the horizon. 5g is rolling out via the various carriers. The reality of 5g is that it is safe. The great bird kill reported in Holland was a created story (it didn’t happen). Medical professionals have blessed 5g and its current bandwidth. Yes, it is a form of the microwave, but the energy doesn’t excite cells, so there is no risk for humans. What there is, however, is a brave new world where you can download and watch movies simultaneously. Walking around the national mall in Washingon DC, I was able to download over a terabyte of information from a service provider that I needed for a customer presentation is less than five minutes.
Tomorrow is a bright new day (although it will be hot)!

And that was using free wifi, was it?
My brother has 5g already here in Australia, but he limits his use of it, and he reckons while it is operating, it interferes with his normal landline home phone too.
it shouldn’t in any way interfer.
most phones, even the landline mobile (handheld or portable wireless home line phones) live in the 500 mhz range.
5g is a lot lower than that. now the wifi signal from a router, might because it is in the range of that lang line portable handset.
but 5g is between 20 and 100 mhz well below that.
You are more likely to get interference from many other things.
Actually his landline, like mine, does go through the modem now, as they scrapped all real homephones here, when the national broadband system came in. All calls are routed through the internet.
When he calls me, he switches back to 4g for using this phone because he says 5g interferes with it somehow.
i suspect there is another issue there. If, he is going from his handset (landline) to the cable modem, it is a digital signal between 480 and 500 mhz.
5g is between 20-100 the two don’t disagree.
However, if he is going into that cable modem, the Wifi signal that he is using for the internet likely interferes with his handset (landline)!
Yes, you are probably right.
There is probably something else going on there.
that is why people like me have jobs. I can translate tech to real world, and then back!
The 5g conspiracy was one of the dumbest conspiracies ever made. Everyone would be dead if this conspiracy was true because just about everyone has a microwave in their home.
4g is also on the edges of that specrtum but it is fun to poke holes in those theories!
That is super duper (I can’t remember the exact spellings. Heard it many many years ago). That’s a terribly super speed – 1 terabyte for 5mins?
So, will the quality of the 5g be of better quality than 4g or…
significantly better, two, three and even four times faster.
Let me say the truth: I’m astonished. That’s really fast. It will take close to ten years for it to reach Africa. We’re still struggling with 4g reaching every part of the country.
well the good news is it can use the same towers as 4g, the bad news is, it does require a fiber connection.
The second one was quite a headache. And that is costly.
Well..we’ll catch up on that area in the years to come😎 We always do so when over there you’re aiming for an advanced one
The reality of tomorrow is you need fiber today. 400 gig and better is on the horizon!

5g TV commercials are beginning to play. It is an interesting situation right now. The medical community as a whole is very concerned about radiation and cell phones.

the reality of 5g is it is new. it has been tested for the past five years. but it remains new.
In our country, experts are still arguing about the 5G network.
yes there are many arguments. THe one that worries is the electromagnetic radiation causing cancer. You see, current phones have the same type of radiation in them.
so either all are bad or none are bad.
Your foreign minister will visit our country tomorrow.
I read this in the news and I don’t understand it well:
At the forefront of the visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is the signing of a bilateral declaration on the security of 5G mobile networks. Experts believe this is just another attempt to eliminate China in a technological war. Thus, the Americans, who otherwise have neither the company nor the technological alternative to set up the network, want to eliminate the Chinese giants Huawei and ZTE. In the background, there are huge investments in new infrastructure, which will bring users faster data transfer, the emergence of new technologies and communications, and new jobs.
i do read a lot of the stuff, let me know if I can help in anyway!
I will definitely contact you if I have any questions.
I agree the Sharing challenge is helping. And I hope to see more posts soon as well.
Don’t know a lot about 5G to be honest. Have read some articles but that is the extent.
downtown Nashville has 5g today
I try to stay away from downtown lately. Many things are closed and it is a sad place for now. But things will get better eventually.
after the tornado that hit Nashville we pulled the 5g circuit earlier to get it up and running.
i have some great links if you would like them!
