First of all, I wanted to explain the format change in my technology posts. My pal doing the study on internet activity asked me to shake things up a little. (long story short he wanted me to change up the wander project as well but I just can’t). We talked about different things that impact posts and different ways to “maintain views across multiple platforms. I thought I would share with you some of the things he was interested in seeing if they would work. The first part is sharing; the second part is the actual content of the posts.
Sharing platforms
Facebook, Twitter, Mix, Reddit, Mewe, Patron and Flipboard, and WordPress (backup blog)
We had a long conversation about each of the social platforms and what/how I share. He asked me to start, including links to other content areas I use or have online. I’ve been adding those in trying to keep them related to the topic, although today they have not related in any way. He was telling me to try new things (I know many of you have been trying many new things over the past few weeks)!
I will happily share tips as he hands them out. The first one is to connect all your digital presence. When possible, share information on multiple platforms. I can say here are several authors here that do an excellent job of sharing across various platforms (I am not one of them, I need to start doing a better job of that)!.
Sharing across platforms isn’t just sharing to social media. It is pulling articles, pieces, and pictures into various social media sources and sharing them slightly differently. For example, I now use Hubpages to share longer articles when I have too much for this site. I back up this site on WordPress because, honestly, I was burned badly by the decline and fall of Niume. The other thing my friend said is that he felt I had found an exciting way to share fun information with Just for fun (he doesn’t like the format I’ve chosen to use).

I only use Facebook since 2018. Never bothered to go back to my WordPress. IG I post when inspiration hits me before laziness 😂. The rest I haven’t visited in a long while.

Aye, aye that is true! Even my own mother will agree with you if she is alive today. And the few men who got close enough can attest to that too 😂😂😂 but since you are a Sagg, you will quite understand that one pesky quality (yeah, it is a quality 😂😂😂)
i would go beyond quality to say it is a force. Sometimes we have to remember to stop and listen to pixies! if we don’t we lose focus.
It is mushy and sentimental but I missed your missives while you were offline!
I have practice headlocking with my two brothers and parents, too 😂🤫
The offline period allowed me so much time to look deeper into my own psyche. Thank you for being mushy and for going out your way to look for the pixie. I knew you do that to Albert and other friends and for that you are appreciated. Much. From the heart

Facebook just mixed with my head. Personally I find the new format rather confusing and I am still trying to get used to it. Me We absolutely confuses me but I belong to poetry groups there so I use it for posting and checking in with others.
i struggle with these as well, I promised my pal doing the study that I would guinea pig some of these for him.
I find that Facebook is great (in groups) but not overall. Except when my buddies get ahold of a post, then my views shoot through the roof.
mewe feels static to me and they keep advertising premium.
Flipbook is new, I enjoy it, but really haven’t found its value yet.
Mix is interesting but i don’t see a lot of traction there.
There is also MINDS the leading alternative social network. I put links to my posts on but have no idea how it really works. Perhaps, you can explore and let me know.
Will you remind me in about a month? I have to do some of the things my pal suggests and that will burn any extra time I have right now.
OK because I post my links on there again and they could be monetized but I am not sure I did the right thing etc. I will make a note of this for September Meanwhile I guess it can’t hurt for me to keep posting.
I use mix to organize my social media posts –
that way i can bring all of them into bigger categories (virily, poetry, etc)
i signed up today will play around with it a bit and see what happens.

The format looks very nice and user friendly. But the older posts did as well.
he wanted me to cut down the amount of text (from 300 to 240 or less words) and to always include a link to something else!
Sounds like good advice perhaps.
he also wants me to try for a month only commenting on posts of people that directly comment on mine. I am pushing back right now, but he has asked twice.
