I have a friend (Ghostwriter) on the site who has made many requests for me to share as many bluebirds photos as possible.
Of course I do not mind, as I have many photos over the years of the backyard bluebirds of happiness.
This beauty is a female, she is laying on eggs in the backyard bluebird house. It is a challenge to get this shot because when you lift the top of the house open, and if the adults are in the house, they try to fly away. I got lucky this time and had my camera ready.
Was happy to get this shot. And even happier to share the moment. I hope next spring brings more bluebirds.

Ever tried photographing birds?
-
Never tried before
-
Yes I tried but was not successful

A beautiful bird. Unfortunately, I have never seen a blue bird in our country.
One of my favorites as you know. I wish you could see one.
Nice shot of this beautiful bluebird
Thank you very much!
Again you brought tears to his eyes. He called his son in North Dakota to tell him all about it. He then put his son on the phone and he wanted a link to see what his Dad was talking about. They rarely speak, perhaps once or twice a year. And today they have called back three or four times just to talk about bluebirds.
As you can imagine if you know me at all, I am here with happy tears streaming. You never know who will be the person who steps up and does something that truly changes the course of a family. They are talking. They are laughing. They are counting bluebirds.
@CarolDM, you gave my husband and second chance to have a relationship with his son. You are his angel. I can never thank you enough.
Oh my gosh, now you have me crying. And chills. And tears. This is what Christmas is all about. You and your husband have given my a gift of happiness. So , I thank you!
What a great Christmas story.
Lovely photo of this beautiful bird…I think you have seen my photos for yourself…
Thank you Pam, I was excited to get this one.
Wow-what an impressive photo, it’s so great that you got a chance to take the photo without the bird flying away.
Thank you, I got lucky with this one! A surprise.
Wow! I tried taking photo of my pet bird for a school project but well, I didn’t get one and it nearly flew away … :/

It’s difficult to answer your question, because some of my bird photography efforts have turned out quite well!
Well then you just answered! Glad to know you enjoy photographing birds as well.
Such a cutie! I love taking photos of birds when they decide to cooperate.
This one was unplanned, had no idea she was in the box.
