My result 4 out of 10 could be better.
5/10 here INdexer! Fun, fantastic, fabulous quiz!
I scored 3. Those words are foreign to me. It’s was quite difficult making it out. I enjoyed the challenge.
They are not exactly everyday words with me either! The idea is to dig some obscure words out of the dictionary and see how close people can get to working them out. It is not really intended as a test of one’s knowledge.
Very interesting and I discovered that F words are not my forte but I did learn about them
Perhaps I should have included “forte”!
You got 3 out of 10 right!
That was fun. I got 7 right, which I’m quite satisfied with. My favourite is ferntickles, which I intend to use 🙂
I think it is a local dialect word, but I don’t know which locality!
Well I intend to spread it around Wexford 🙂
I missed half, but honestly probably won’t retain the 5 I didn’t know. Not often common usage words!
That’s where the fun comes from! For myself, I don’t by any means know all these words before putting them in quizzes, but flicking through the dictionary turns up some beauties that deserve to see the light of day.
as I have now said, several times, I love the series.
Just managed to get pass marks. (lol)
Well done you! I try not to make these quizzes too easy!
I knew the meaning of some words but most were alien to me!!!
Have not heard of many but enjoyed the knowledge.
