An interesting quiz, thanks for it.
Missed a few but learned more words.
Also got only two correct on this one. A lot of the words I have never heard of before.
Discovered I knew more B than C words and got 5 right. Interesting.
You got 5 out of 10 right!
I got five out of ten .
I am not good with vocabulary that I think i have to read the Thesaurus once in a while.
Nice quiz, John. I got 9/10, failing to get the correct answer to #1, but in my defence, had you spelled the word correctly I would have got it. By omitting one of the esses you changed the literal meaning from ‘boss-ship’ to ‘boss hat’ 🙂
Sorry, Norman – I don’t follow you here. There is only one S in baaskap.

I’m using a good old-fashioned paper dictionary!
Which evidently contains a mistake!
You got 5 out of 10 right!
Got 9 out of ten mostly by luck and some help with Google although a few I really did know. I just love these kinds of quizzes, so please keep them coming if you do not mind. Happy to see you are back on good old Virily…
Thanks. I did “A” some time ago, so I still have 24 letters left to go – although I fancy that X will offer a challenge!
Under what title did you do the A. I cannot seem to find it. That is if you do not mind answering…
