I did better this time; 2 mistakes only. 🙂
Nicely done, Ellie! Thanks for taking the quiz 🙂
Good quiz Norman … I’m 8/13
Nicely done, Lado! Thanks for playing 🙂
10/13 here. I did get the USA one wrong. Boo! The last one made me laugh out loud, you almost got me with that one. Good quiz dear sir!
Now let’s try a slang one hahaha, That could get you into trouble.
Indeed it could! Maybe you’ll do it instead 😀
Oh no, not brave enough here. lol This is all you buddy! 😉
Norman Darlington
I got 8 out of 18
thanks for shearing
10/13. A lot of them were guesses though
You did well, regardless, Linda! Thanks for taking the quiz 🙂
i got 8 so no full Norman. Good to see you back making hard quizzes!
Glad to be able to offer you a bit of a challenge, Scott!
you always do, early in the US am thinking hurts my head.
That’s my secret weapon – take advantage of the time zones 😀
i would make a snarky comment about ponds and timezones but it isn’t worth it right now. i will get a full Norman!
You got 5 out of 13 right!
This was very interesting, and fun to take as I like Geography. ?
I got 10 out of 13, not bad. Got tricked by the last one, I thought Pinoys and Filipinos were both accepted terms, but I would have never expected “Philippines” itself. ?
Thanks for pointing this out. I misinterpreted what I read, and have now requested an edit to the quiz, changing the answer “Philippines” to “Filipinas” 🙂
Oh ok, no problem. ? Filipinas makes more sense now. ?
Did very badly. Atleast you included India (lol)
How could I leave out my beloved India?! 😀
Your beloved India!!! Are you from India?
No I am from Ireland, but I can still love India. I have had many happy experiences there 😀
Wow!! Which parts of India have you visited?
Oh let’s see… Delhi and Agra area, Rajasthan; Mumbai and Goa; and last trip Bangalore, Mysore and Kodagu 🙂 But there is so much left to see!
Not just you even for me there is so much let to see (lol) I have been to all those places and many more.
This was an interesting and fun quiz and I got 9. BTW I don’t think that anyone calls people in Latvia Letts any longer. Today they are always called Latvians. There are popular Latvian songs where they have words that affectionately refer to little boys as being a snall lettins as opposed to a big grown-up Lett
Well done, Rasma. Yeah, I’m aware that Letts and Lettish are old-fashioned terms in English now, but I don’t think that invalidates the question. I do still come across the term in reading.
You got 7out of 13 right!
It’s a pass, Snezana! Thanks for playing 🙂
#8 and #18 were most interesting. Missed a few. Good to see you.
Good to see you too, Carol. I know Usonians is not a common term, but I came across it a few years back and it’s in the dictionary, and it’s definitely more precise! Not sure which question you meant by #18 though as there are only 13 😮
Should have said #13 was interesting. 🙂
The answers at #13 contained a mistake, which I’m thankful to sabtraversa for pointing out. But it’s fixed now 🙂
#13 was about the Philippines.
