The rats. Some of us are fond of them while the majority loathe them. There are people who keep them as pets while there are others who wonder why people keep rats as pets.
Well, rats are not that bad as long as you ensure the surrounding including their bedding (cage) is clean.

Brown rats have a tendency to disregard personal experiences and copy the behaviour of their peers. What’s more, the urge to conform appears to be so strong that they will choose to eat food they know to be unpalatable when interacting with other rats that have done the same.”
