slipping away from me

slinking off in the darkness

pounces

but cannot catch the light

while I stand

staring at my fingers

wondering why the

holes suddenly appeared

losing light

there is nothing left.

  1. I guess we have all been these moments like these. Although you cannot hold the light you can still make good of it and in a way it could be good you cannot hold on because that releases a number of other possibilities to you.

  2. Absolutely I can relate to your words. I have a framed quote, very long, that basically says I am in the light. It was gift after losing Dustin. I will write about it one day.
