What makes you click on a post, and what not?

I’ve been on Virily for quite a while now, and I still don’t quite understand the “habit” or “preferences” of the users here…

So I thought, why not have a poll to find out, so that everyone can benefit from it?

  • What attracts you first when you arrived on the “homepage”?

    • Images
    • Texts
    • Advertisements
  • What keywords capture you most?

    • Challenges
    • Quiz
    • Review
    • Question
    • Money
    • Virily
    • Movie
    • Music
    • Art
    • Others (pls share with us 🙂 )
  • If you see a long post (say more than 800 words), you…

    • Close the post and say bye bye
    • Read it thoroughly
    • Read a few lines to see if its interesting
  • What titles attract you more?

    • Straight forward titles
    • Intriguing titles
    • Nonsense titles
    • “Blank titles” (like all symbols)
    • Offensive titles
  • Which title turn you off the most?

    • Straight forward titles
    • Offensive titles
    • “Blank titles” (like all symbols)
    • Nonsense titles
    • Intriguing titles
  • What is your reading routine?

    • Read some “homepage” post first
    • See my “following” firsts
    • See if the “Mores Shared” have anything I’m interested in first…
    • Randomnly
  • Have you ever click on the advertisements on the “Homepage” accidentally?

    • Yes
    • No
  • What makes you click a post over another?

    • Images (Cover photos)
    • Title
    • Categories (like quiz, polls, stories…etc)
    • Others

  1. Actually, I read any post but especially interesting is about humanity, if any. I’m used to reading and replying to notifications first, then opening the profile of friends closest to me then open all posts I have not read or friends who comment on my post. The rest I read any posts on the homepage.
