2. Looking at the background and the impression that your mouth is like filled, I want to choose oyster, but my index finger chooses to click on coffee because it’s like you’re enjoying a certain aroma…

   • Your first idea was correct, Albert! And you were right to pay attention to the background. It was only when I looked at the photo myself, that thought, like you, that I looked like I was enjoying an aroma, rather than a taste/mount-feel 🙂

   I introduction to English Humor was Benny Hill and my personal favorite, Monty Python’s Flying Circus!

   • Someone had to choose that! For me too, Monty Python remains a longtime favourite, although Benny Hill always rang a bum chord for me 🙂

     • I remember the second Monty Python movie I went to (Jabberwocky) after that I was hooked.

         • I have a DVD/Blu-Ray of all of them. My kids love them! They were introduced early to the concept of “English” humor. 😉

       • It’s great your kids like that humour – most of mine do too – I think it’s quite different from typical American humor 🙂

         • It can be. Many years ago I got to be part of a comedy competition in college. I stood next to George Carlin. His humor was similar to the Monty Python style. Asking questions about the insanity that is communication.

       • I didn’t know him, but I just watched him for 10 minutes on YouTube. Yeah I see the similarity 🙂 So what was your act, up against him? 😮

         • I didn’t have to compete. We had a competition and I finished in the top four. I got to appear on stage with Mr. Carlin. My stuff back then was similar to his, just the banality of life in Southern Indiana.

       • And did you enjoy being on stage? I used to (for amateur dramatics, as well as declaiming poetry). Do you still do the comic thing?

         • I used to do poetic readings as well (my nom de plume was Sandler Boggs). But I don’t do comedy anymore, I just don’t have the time.
