Wednesday comes again with shadows! This photo was taken in the place where the past meets the present.
The shadows of the present (persons’ shadows) on the old walls of the past have made me think of the strong link between the past and the present.
Sometimes we can not enjoy the present because of something that has happened in the past. We do not realize that by hanging on our old emotions, we do not allow to experience everything that life gives us.
But the past is … past! It can not be changed. Better learn from it, accept it and move on. Do not allow the past to blur the present!
Just thoughts !!!!

Nothing about you is meaningless in any way. You are amazing.
This picture remind me something very special .
I’m glad this photo wakes up your memories!!
That is the essence!
Makes perfect sense to me, put the past behind you and live in the moment.
Past negative events can make life difficult. It’s better to let them behind us.
This is how beautiful and deep the words of a philosopher when talking about time. Not to mention the photos shared here, wow, that makes it special.
This is not about philosophy is about reality, Albert. I am amazed to see how some people destroy their peace of mind just because they can not get away from the past! Thank you for your comment and because you like the photo! This is one of my favorite pictures!
I agree that it is a reality, but the awareness to live in peace now is an important part of the philosophy of life.
I understand if it is one of your favorite photos.
I think the past is the past, let it go. Life is given to us only today, so we should live only here and now. I love this photo
Totally agree. Life must be lived everyday only now! Not in the past, not in the future!
You are reading my mind. I deal with this all the time. Hard to let go of the past. But if I do not, I cannot have a present or future. Thank you!
Lovely photo.
We will never be able to forget the past, but it is very important to learn how to live with it.
Yes, the past belongs in the past and you can only learn from it. Great photo by the way with that beautiful stone fortress wall and those two shadows of young people of today. One thing you can learn from the past that I think is worth it is general and cultural history. Just a hint…
Thank you! People whose shadows are seated on the wall are no longer so young, but they are young as a spirit!?These are my and my husband shadows. We look at our past with understanding! I totally agree what you say about the value of the historical past!
Does it seem meaningless what I say?
You say”Do not allow the past to blur the present!”
I would add and say “Look to the future”.
That is the essence!
