Visit to the zoo in Ljubljana – 1

In beautiful sunny and warm weather, I took the time and visited the zoo in Ljubljana. The Ljubljana Lifestyle Garden was opened on March 10, 1949. The first cages were located in the center of Ljubljana on Kolodvorska Street near today’s RTV Slovenia. In 1951, he moved to today’s area – the southwestern part of Rožnik, where it occupies 19.6 hectares of area. The zoo is located in the natural forest and meadows and is part of the protected landscape park Tivoli, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib. Before the entrance to the ZOO there is a statue of a bull, the work of sculptor Janez Boljka.

  1. before i was a fan of zoo, now not anymore, because i hate to see animals in cages. i enjoy more of national parks though and see wild animals still roaming around

  2. Yes, as I have said I have done a beginners photography course at the Auckland Zoo and I joined as a member for a year so now I can go anytime for free.
The beginners course was to learn about my camera and technical skills it was worth it.
