Tulips are one of the first flowers to bloom in my spring garden. I snapped this macro photo in the spring of an orange-red tulip. I found the center of the tulip very interesting.
Another thing I like about the tulips is they bloom for a short time, and then return in the spring once again to do it all over again.
Sharing another photo of the tulips below. I have the orange, red, yellow and black ones.

What a great macro. Wow. LOVE IT. I guess if I were to pick a favorite it would have to be the purple ones.
Thanks, I got up close and personal on this one. 🙂 I love the black queen of the night one.
You sure did, and with great results. Ah yes, that black queen would look great with my black succulent. About the same color.
it is my wife’s favorite flower. We had to drag her out of the tulip fields near Amsterdam!
Oh that is cool, I love them as well, in all colors. I would be right there with her in Amsterdam if I could!
literally dragging her away from the tulips. They had row after row, only about a 1/4 were blooming.
It’s the red tulips for me. That is an awesome photo.
I love the red ones too, thanks!
I love tulips, i even bought the bulbs but they just died in this tropical weather.
That is too bad. We get hot weather here too.
I like all colours and my only regret was that I missed the tulip season in Amsterdam just by 15 days
I like them all too, I just wish the blooms lasted longer.
And I can imagine how beautiful it would be to see them in Amsterdam. I have seen photos.
The tulips really bloom first and it is a pity to bloom with so little time.
Yes they only last maybe two weeks max and they are gone for a year.
They are similar to my azaleas that bloom and last only one to two weeks .
I love both red and yellow tulips. In my garden, in Latvia, my red tulip has either black centers or yellow ones.
I love that combination as well. Good memories you have.
I love them all regardless of the colors.
I do too, the more colors the better.
The combination of red, orange, yellow and black are so pretty.
I like those big ones, they are called double tulips, I believe.
Never seen those before, sounds beautiful.
I had a post about them last year https://virily.com/science-nature/spring-sunshine/ 🙂
The color and shape of the tulips is due to defects selected over the years.
Otherwise they are red again.
Most species are grown in the Netherlands and Turkey!
For Turkey, tulip is a national flower!
I did not know that, thanks for the information.
This is a real macro image, dear Carol … I would have a hard time deciding which color is more beautiful … each one is beautiful
Thanks, I got really close on this one.
