Treasured Rooster Art ~ Day 349

I lost my neighbor back in the spring to cancer. She kept her yard up beautifully. I learned a lot from her. Her husband is now left to handle it. It has become too much for him. He is with his son visiting right now. I walked over and looked around only for a few minutes yesterday. So many memories. She told me only days before she passed to take whatever flowers I wanted. But the time is not here yet to do that. I will wait for her husband to tell me it is time. She loved roosters, both inside and out she had decorations. This rooster caught my eye. I snapped a photo then came home. It was overwhelming as this was the first time to be in her garden  without her.

Savor the moments you have with your loved ones. You never know what the moment will hold for any of us. Enjoy the little things while you have the chance.

  1. I am sorry for your loss, that would be difficult to go through. That is a cool looking rooster for sure, as well as a very special one. Thank you for sharing it with us

  2. Very ornate and beautiful rooster. I wonder if your neighbor created it herself. Keep fond memories of her and she will never let you go…That is my motto.
