This was taken when we stayed at Ngongotaha, and this is taken from the Jetty.
I love walking along the beach and the lake or river to view reflections…
Well life has been extremely busy and work never ceases so it seems…So I can only spend so much time doing things on the computer…

not only is Ngongotaha unpronounceable, it’s practically unreadable. and I can say Cthulhu…
Well “Ngongotaha” is a Maori word, Im not sure what it means but my best way to describe it.
Ng (Na) gong (the “O” is like oar..) got. ta . ha
Non gong got Ta Ha.
I know Maori looks daunting
it really does. this coming from the guy who can pronounce Azathoth and Nyarlathotep
Thanks for the comment and hope the explanation helps.
it is quite helpful, actually
I think we’re all a little overwhelmed. We must be careful not to “burn out”.
Thanks so much Vidocka, you are right but often I get no choice my husband is dependant on me.
I understand, Pamela. I was in a similar situation where my husband injured his arm.
Its been a year since his shoulder replacement and there are other complications, he can barely walk. He cant pour himself his own coffee he cant drive, cant cook or do gardening, he can only draw now and so it is hard going. However, he had NZ’s best surgeon and he is not in pain anymore. It would have been worse without the operation
What a coincidence. Even my late husband had surgery on his shoulder. It took a long time for him to recover. I understand how difficult this situation is for you and your husband. Your husband has really serious consequences from surgery.
Yes, he has had some serious complications and there’s more complications too as he was born partly paralysed on one side as well. They put him in a rest home after the operation and then the nurses drugged him, it took me 3 months to get him back to his normal self..
Yesterday was a very busy day for me. Today will be even busier.
Yes, I know the feeling nothing you can do about it…
Very pretty photo and so far a good day!
Thanks so much Carol, glad you like it.
Such beautiful reflections!
Thanks so much Ellie…
We’ve missed you the past few days, but I figured you were slammed with caretaker duties. I hope you are able to take time for you!
I have had to juggle a lot of chores, and some physical, just had an exhausting few days of tearing weeds out of the garden and then cleaned up a porch.
Then I have been going to the gym..Re arranged the porch..
Caregiving is on going and hard going..No even if I wanted to, there is practically no time for me, so I crashed…
I remember we were taken to a sight where the reflection was so perfect that we could not see the water.
Thanks so much Grace glad you like it… Often seen reflections like what you saw on a still day
Beautiful picture of the water body.
Thanks so much MohanBabu.
I always look at my day as enjoyable … every now and then, dear Pamela
Thanks so much Lado, its good to do that
With great pleasure, dear friend
