THE THREE MUS"CAT"EERS.

In Alexandre Dumas’s story in 1844 about the young D’Artagnan’s tale of his epic visit to Paris, in 1625, to join the Musketeers of the Guard,  although he is not able to join this elite corps, he befriends the three most formidable musketeers of the age – Athos, Porthos and Aramis, “the three inseparables”, as they were endearingly referred to.  – D’Artagnan does however get involved in the day to day affairs of the state and of the court.

The three “Muscateers” in the photograph above, belong to my daughter living in Elbridge Ireland. They are Blacky, Stripy and Toona and have very little to do with those above beloved hero’s excepting, that they are as inseparable as Dumas’s three.

  1. Wow those three are inseparable and almost joined to the hips… I love cats such as my cat Runt, but I also love dogs because they make you exercise by taking you out for a walk versus you taking them out for a walk.
