Little children always believe that parents are being stronger, more interesting, more successful, and happier. They do not know that often we can be depressive, unable to find a positive, and not inspirational. They do not know how many black clouds are floating in our sky, sometimes for days there is no sun at all, and we have to run-run-run to find at least a slit of blue sky. Because life never is easy.
But children grow up and face the same problems, they understand that life is not eternal happiness, it has its balance and the good days always change bad days.
The sun completes this miraculous day here. Did you make everything: think about yourself and hug those who you love?

We protect our children from the world as long as we can. We cannot show them the black clouds that swirl around us.
Then we are saddened later when they encounter their own black clouds.

I suppose you would have to have had a day that was as equally good as the previous one had been bad for the two to cancel each other out!
