Moneys are such interesting creatures. They way they think and do stuff makes us feel close to them . It is great to watch how they plan and attack unsuspecting people of their belongings, especially edibles. We had been on a trek a few years ago, my friend who loves peanut bars had loads of them in her purse.
The monkey who watched her take these and distribute to her friends and eat some herself ,grabbed her purse when she wasn’t looking and raided it until it got to the the box of peanut bars. It threw away everything but the box. This picture was taken after the monkey opened the box and stuffed about four or five bars in his cheek.
Can you see it hanging down his cheek? We had so much fun watching the monkeys do all their tricks.

there were places when we lived in Thailand where the monkees were allowed to do anything.
I know they are worshiped there. But then they can be dangerous too if they get violent.

They are indeed. I just love watching them.
We have had some nice experience with this baby moneky whome we named Charlie. It visited us and others for a while and then disappeared Perhaps his Mom took him home.
It sounded so cute the way you put it. Perhaps Charlie found a mate.
So cute, but so miscevious.
Perhaps that is why they seem so interesting dear Ellie.
