It is interesting to see how we go about using those 5 senses that we have been endowed with. Looking at my own life of the 5 senses – Vision, Hearing, Tasting, Touching and Smelling I feel I make the most use of vision.
I have so much to see in my garden, I have so much to reminisce looking at old photos, I watch tv and how can I be here without vision.
No doubt I make use of my other senses too that gives me a holistic approach to life.
What’ your story.

Everyone is important only the eyes are the most important to me, dear friend … sometimes it would also be good for a person to be deaf not to listen to all the nonsense going on around us
Very true. That reminds me of the 3 monkeys. (lol)
My sense of smell and hearing are sharp too. I often can sense what happens behind.
Talking about sense of smell I just rushed to the kitchen and told the maid that the omelette is burning I too have a sharp smell sense. (lol)
I think we need all our senses to be honest, sometimes there is one people don’t acknowledge, a sense of something else.
It is why we are suddenly afraid for no reason in certain situations.
Trust your gut or senses..You are usually right.
I do agree we need all those senses but each of us have their need in different proportions – just my thought
We can do without many senses, I have a blind cousin. I would not want to give up any senses, but it is possible.
I feel that I use my eyes more than my other senses.
I mainly use 4 of my senses – hearing, sense of smell, touch and sight. Taste leave it for enjoyment of delicious food and drinks 😉
You are right there. Tasting is not done all the time (lol)
Seeing first, then hearing. Sense of smell plays a big part in my life as well; and I have a pretty sensitive nose (and ears).
I thought as much. We all use eyes the most
when I was a teacher I used my ears as much as my eyes. But now, i use my eyes most of all.
It sure seems eyes are the winner
i suspect our world is visual, 🙂
I am probably more visually orientated than the other senses. Visual art was my main endeavor for most of my life so far.
Yes, I think I use my eyes more.
I think if we really take stock of our activity it will be eyes more than anything else
This reminds me of the tv series with the title Sixth Sense.
Sixth sense is not something that is used that frequently
