That’s me in the photo as a fifteen year old. I picked this from a group photo that was taken on the last day of school. My mother had got me that dress from Mumbai where she had gone to spend time with one of my older sisters who was married. My cousin stitched that dress and painted those flowers on the dress.
Those were the days – happy days. I was average in studies but good at extracurricular activities such as acting. I always got lead roles in plays. The nuns trained us and I just looked forward to the time I would be selected.
We were two of us the shortest in class but later while at college I suddenly shot up and that was a surprise. I am now 5’4″

Lovely memories and a cute photo!
Those days there were hardly any photos.
It is a very sweet picture. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you for your appreciation.
Very cute photo. I am glad that you remember all the details about when this photo was taken and how your sister made it for you.
It was my cousin who stitched that frock. Those days unlike now we never had that many clothes that I will forget this one. This dress was special.
This is lovely. Congratulations.
Thanks. How about posting one of yours?
I do not know. I posted one picture with my dog in one of my first posts here. You can see it following the link https://virily.com/other/making-a-movie-inspired-by-my-book-el-verano-de-natalie-davis/
I will got and check that post.
When I saw that sweet little girl, I just knew it was you. What an amazingly candid view into the life of Grace you have shared with us. Your warm and charitable heart also did not escape my eyes, nor the devastating accident you survived and spoke of in one of your earlier posts, yet in spite of this, you have overcome, through His Grace and your perseverance. Namaste. 🙂
I am honoured that you remember those posts about my life in general. Thanks heartily.
I have photos but I have to browse the albums to share any.
I have very photos of that time and so easy to trace.
Good to see you when you were young. My parents have photos of me while young but they aren’t money.
We never had many. This was taken by the school.
Thank you for sharing your photo when you were still a teenager.
You are welcome Alex. May post my latest photo, later.
That’s a very cute picture, Grace ?
Thank you, Norman. Cute then but not now(lol)
Oh I bet you’re still cute! ?
Beautiful lies not only in the eyes of the beholder but their imagination as well (lol)
