Going through my archived photos and found this Swallowtail butterfly from last year. He visited my butterfly bush all day long. I am waiting for the bush and butterfly to return soon.
Similar to a butterfly, I’ve gone through a metamorphosis, been released from my dark cocoon, embraced my wings, and soared. ~Dana Arcuri

I love these big swallowtails in yellow, blue and black. 🙂
These butterflies are very partial. They never pose like this to me. They give the best possible poses only to Carol. ?

Oh you are too kind, it does take a lot of patience but so worth it.
I know Carol. I was just joking. I know the amount of patience one needs to get such shots right. Since I lack the patience to do that, I would blame it on the partiality of butterflies and birds for my poor photographic skills. -)

I’m waiting for the butterflies to return to my garden.

Beautiful butterfly .. also my garden just a butterfly picture is a real masterpiece … they are too restless
Thanks, it takes awhile to get photos of butterflies. You have to find a place to sit to be really still until they get used to you being in their space.
You really have to have nerves, but I do not regret it for such things … it’s fast to me
