Most of the blooms are gone from the garden now that fall has arrived. This orange tulip was in my spring garden this year. They return each year. Perennials are my favorite. No extra planting required each year.

Tulips do not grow unless we create simulated conditons as they have done in Kashmir.

I love tulip in the spring. Back in Latvia in my garden when the tulips popped up it was the first sign of spring. One year several popped up right through the last snow and one year I was taking photos of my red rulips and among them, one sunny yellow one had popped up
I do too I just wish they lasted longer. I love all the colors.
