I know a lot of other posts will be here reminding you to change your clocks tonight, if you observer Daylight Savings Time (DST). Some states do not and some countries do not. But I will be changing my clocks tonight.
Also I am using a Pixabay photo with yellow for Kim’s Color Crazy Challenge.
Not crazy about the time change. But at least duding the spring, we get an extra hour of daylight. So that is a plus. And I have no control of the situation so I will find this positive to roll with. And you?

Changing your clocks tonight for DST?

Yes

No

We’ll be changing clocks later, but it’s the season giving extra hours of daylight, not the clocks: clocks just make mornings darker. ?
The bill has been passed to not change them, so next year at this time we wont have to go through this, I hope. Like I said above, I don’t know how long it will take. I never have liked this idea. We should of done away with it after the war and depression.
Also in our country, we put the clock in the summer time. We do this last weekend in March.
I haven’t read about this at all… Does it affect the tropics?
No, only in the Americas. Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of moving the clocks forward one hour from Standard Time for the summer months, and changing them back again in the fall. The general idea is that this allows us all to make better use of natural daylight.
… I was wrong Albert. Most countries have it including all of Europe but they call it summer time. Their clocks go forward a few weeks later than the US.
China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and India do not observe Daylight Savings Time.
One more thing… here is an interesting link you might want to read about other countries as well.

Oh, I see… I think my country doesn’t participate in that rule. Daylight Saving Time has never been used here.
We will be back with us back last weekend of the month … if we still do … The European Union is considering stopping moving the clock back to the summer time
Some of the states here have stopped.
I also think that it is no longer necessary
Our country just passed a bill to not change the clocks any longer. Now we wait to see how long until it will be implemented. Yay, I am so glad!
Even in Europe we are waiting for the smart people in Brussels to decide … we move it every year back last weekend in March …. I hope that they will stop with this move
It really doesn’t change much for me. It’s just a number I do the same things at the same time.
I do not know when exactly in Europe we will change watches to summer time.
I’ve no idea what this is about …
It doesn’t happen in your country. We actually change the time on the clocks twice a year.
As I live in New Zealand in the Southern hemisphere, it will soon be the opposite. We soon will be putting our clocks an hour back. Fall back.
To be honest I think we should not have altered the time of the day, the animals know instinctively
That is so interesting, we are exactly opposites. 🙂
