If spring can’t be enjoyed in the usual way, enjoy it through photos.
In the spring, when we can hardly wait for the plants to start to sprout, we are cheered by the bright yellow Forsythia among the first flowers; this undemanding shrub can be propagated by cuttings, in winter or immediately after flowering. It is a fairly unpretentious plant that prefers well-drained soil. It will thrive almost anywhere, preferably in the sun, but it will not hurt in half shade. Forsythia and its flowers are edible, so we can use it in the kitchen and make syrups and salads from it. Older leaves are toxic and we do not consume them. In China, it is used as a medicinal plant.

These bushes I think are unique and are found in many countries
In our country we see them in almost every garden and park.
Ah, nice to see you and Forsythia on your page again, dear friend.
Thank you very much. I am also very happy to see you again.
my dad always used it as a living fence! we would plant it alongside an actually fence and it would grow (12 feet) towering above the actual fence, but also hiding it!
Some of us use this plant as a hedge. I have it planted during the hedge.
yes that is what my dad did, he loved having a tall living fence.
We don’t have them here but my friend sends me pictures of his garden since I love this plant.
I love this plant too, so I have it in my garden.
This is one of my favorite plants, because it reminds me that spring is coming. Wonderful photo!
Thank you. I have it in the garden and it has been blooming beautifully for some time.
Not seen this before. It sure fits the spring season.
Yes, this plant is among the first spring flowers.
I know this one well. My neighbor has several in her yard. Lovely golden color.
Thank you. Even in our gardens, this plant is common.
