Today has been a wonderful and happy day. For the first time in a long time I took pictures of spring flowers. Many spring flowers are almost dry but … I found this beautiful fragrant magnolia on my way and I am happy. The flowers are large, slightly fragrant, in shades of pink and inside the flowers are white or have a light pink hue. When the flowers are closed they look a lot like tulip flowers.

Awe, Ileana! I can tell you loved that walk. Finally! So happy for you, and I am glad you didnt miss Spring. I have never seen one in that color in real life. I have only seen the white ones. This is so pretty and way better than white. 😉
I decided to leave the house and walk around my place. There is beauty everywhere. Even if covid 19 lurks in unknown places I decided not to lose all spring !!🙂
I guess I am going to have to do the same here. The problem is, is that my car broke and now I have to walk to go hiking and there isnt much around here close, just subdivisions. They have that creek I used to take water pictures of fenced off now, with no access. I need to really look closely at google maps and see if there is anywhere close that I can let the dogs off leash and run, while I take my pictures of springtime stuff.

It is beautiful. There are also white magnolias in the area but I did not reach them. I don’t know if they bloomed or the flowers have already dried.
All days are happy days for me, I am yet to go out and get some pictures, I am still waiting.
This is extraordinary. I can’t say that all my days are happy! I should try to make every day a happy day!🙂
Hopefully later when I go out I can take some beautiful pictures too. I’m glad for you that you felt spring outside.

I have never seen the flower. As usual but thankful to be alive.
In fact, magnolias are a large group of spring flowering shrubs and trees, not a flower. It may not grow in your area.
I see…I have never seen them.grown in my country.

Magnolia is beautiful. It blooms in early spring. I was lucky to find it still in bloom. It smells really nice.

Yes I have enjoyed the sunshine. A little warm out. My white magnolias have not bloomed yet.
I saw from the window some white magnolias that bloomed in March, but those are probably a variety that blooms earlier.
