Last spring I bought a pot of tulips. There were four blooms. I followed the instructions that when the greenery was exhausted I would remove it and remove the bulbs. Store them and plant them again after the tray. But unfortunately this spring I only had one bloom tulip. The same thing happened with hyacinth. I need advice on this. I will ask a question and look forward to your help.

I love Tulips but I actually don’t know how to take care of it.
I left the bulbs in the ground at first. I’ve been leaving them in the ground for a few years now.
I leave my bulbs in the ground, they don’t all come back but most do.
I know you have a lot of tulips and I’ll do the same as you.
Good luck. I also fertilize twice a year.
I am never lucky with tulips as I only get a couple or so. However I do leave them in the ground
I will use this advice this year.
I never have to dig the bulbs or tuber out of the pot. They always come back the next season. All my lilies, dahlias, amaryllis are left in pots because we hardly have any winter here.
I’m thinking of leaving them in the ground this year. Thanks Dawn
We have no tulips but I have had experience with dahlias and gladioli where I have pulled out the bulbs and kept in storage and planted them when they started showing life.
This year I will do an experiment. I will not take them out.thanks
With lilies I do not dig them out
