i decided to find songs for Song Saturday that had Saturday in the title.
there are a lot of them!!!! This one is one I haven’t heard in more than 30 years.
Come Saturday morning, I’m goin’ away with my friendWe’ll Saturday-spend till the end of the day, just I and my friendWe’ll travel for miles in our Saturday smiles and then we’ll move onBut we will remember long after Saturday’s gone
Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morning
Come Saturday morning, I’m goin’ away with my friendWe’ll Saturday-laugh more than half of the day, just I and my friend(My friend)Dressed up in our rings and our Saturday things and then we’ll move onBut we will remember long after Saturday’s gone
Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morning
Come Saturday morning, just I and my friend(Saturday, my friend)We’ll travel for miles in our Saturday smiles and then we’ll move onBut we will remember long after Saturday’s gone
Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morningCome Saturday morning, come Saturday morning
Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morningCome Saturday morning, come Saturday morning
Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morningCome Saturday morning, come Saturday morning…

I always enjoyed this song. My sad summer memories begin today was my Latvian name’s day and then a few days later will be the Midsummer celebrations in Latvia and so many bittersweet memories it is though now.
i hadn’t heard this song in a long time, i love the lyrics!
what is a Latvian name day?
It is a day in the Latvian calendar that has your given name and on that day you celebrated your name’s day. So you have two celebrations per year. My birthday is March 1 and Name’s Day June 20.
nice – that is a fun tradition! it always makes me happy to learn about other cultures!
Great song. I had a wonderful day. We had a “farewell” picnic. The nephew goes on a military mission.
hopefully not to a place where there is fighting.
Fortunately, there are no fights in these places.
that is very good, I am glad to hear he is going somewhere relatively safe.
We will find it easier to bear his departure because we know the place is as safe as it gets.
that is so good to hear. It is really hard when we send the young ones away.
Cool song. Thanks for sharing and love the photo 🙂
that is his, um I think it is time for the walk position!
