Eeyore is a Winnie the Pooh character that I adore. I have many items in a collection. This lamp being one of those.
The quote that came along with this one was… Some days things are better upside down.
The lamp sits upside down. And it is so true. When things are going not so good in your life, a diversion is needed. Eeyore says to look at world upside down for awhile. Another perspective is sometimes needed.

Really, did you not ever read my post on why Eeyore is my hero? I have lot’s of Eeyore here.
Of course I remember now. I am sorry. my uncle who is 90, and 500 miles away is going into a nursing home. I talked to him and he is not happy. And I cannot get there to reassure him. So hard.

EI know, personally, that I find reassurance in quotes like this one. That sometimes, I just need to look at things differently!

I love that lamp. As a child, I discovered that an upsidedown world was a better place. I will have a post about it sometime soon. But basically what I did was walk around looking down into a mirror so it looked like everything was upsidedown.

I love the lamp and message. I keep telling myself that I am not a quitter, quitter. I like the quote Winners never quit, not sure who thought of this quote. I also like the one ‘One day at a time.
