Sharing a silver spotted skipper butterfly, edited in sepia, with Kim’s Color Crazy Challenge.
This photo was taken last year in Dustin’s garden on of the butterfly bush blooms.
Cannot wait for this year’s return of the butterflies. In a few weeks they should arrive.

Sepia is a color I love. I wear a lot of sepia tones.
Same here Dawn, very calming. I have many clothes as well in sepia.
i reminds me of some of the really old pictures I have. or those pictures from 100 plus years ago.
Yes I like the sepia tone on some photos.
i have some with sepia that are just old and faded.
Those are the best memories.
yes they are 🙂 i love looking at the old faded pictures!
that is a wonderful photo and the tones are certainly calming
Thank you, these are pretty butterflies and I hope for more soon.
Such a wonderful capture! I am learning to appreciate sepia tones thanks to this challenge.
Thanks, this was last year and I hope for more soon. Sepia is nice.
I also saw many of your butterflies around me. Always happy to watch them fly, although some had to fall by the lunge of my cats playing in the yard.
How wonderful to hear that news. It is not yet time for butterflies this year, but in a few weeks they will make their arrival. Cats like them as well.
This morning when I tried to shoot a white butterfly with black spots, the Black had dropped it first from the plant and carried it away…
Oh my goodness. I wish you luck tomorrow.
A beautiful butterfly. I only see white and yellow.
Thanks, I edited it to a sepia color for Kim’s challenge. Here is the original:
