I like the first one better as well. As for the hair, I would have to agree with the others. Put your hair on her!!! Just put blonde and golden highlights. 😀

I looked at the images and did not take the idol as a factor. Simply took the image as an over all phenomenon.

I used to put way too much information into my work, it confused the read and spoiled the composition…
At first I thought her hair was overwhelming as well, but due to the looks of her apparel it is perfect.

All I can is a great looking Amazon warrior. But, and I am sorry to say this, the curls are slightly overwhelming. Otherwise, great face, body, elegant yet demure (to a certain degree).
I could try another hairstyle, since I have to go back in and give her weapons anyway…
