In between rain showers, I took my camera and went for a walk in my yard. The rose bush is full of blooms, all soaked by the rain. I took several photos. When I got inside I noticed a surprise on some of the photos. This little caterpillar was on one of the roses.
Of course I had to find out his name and all about him. So what do you think. A moth or a butterfly caterpillar? I have questions below for you to answer, if you choose to participate. I will reveal the correct answer soon.

Beautiful rose dewed petals and flowers. Roses are the most gorgeous blooms in whatever colors (except for black, at least in my mind). As for the caterpillar, I guessed for a butterfly but after reading all the comments, I just might be wrong.,..

It is a Tussock Moth Caterpillar. They love the Willow Trees here.

It’s a lovely flower! I saw a green caterpillar before but don’t know what it turns out to be. I’ll just make my guess on this one. I think this is a moth.

my guess is moth (the vast majority of caterpillars become moths more moths than butterflies by a huge amount).
That said, as always the capture is perfect!
