Having cats around will teach you how to relax. I have learned many times from my cats when I get upset about something, or down, or whatever, they can help my mood and remind me to take it easy. Life is short, so we should try to enjoy the ride.
Sharing these photos with you of my cats, Brendel and the Dude. I open the patio doors often and they love to watch and smell the outdoors. They stay indoors but can see all the birds from this view.
I adopted Brendel in 2011 and the Dude in 2014. So glad I was able to give them both a good home. It is heartbreaking to see animals in cages at shelters.
When you look into the eyes of animals you have rescued, it always warms your heart and brings a smile.

I agree. We end up giving money every year to help out the three rescue orgs in our area (Washington Capital Rescue is dogs and cats), Lab Rescue and Maryland Refuge.
It’s easier to connect with an animal than with another person, I do not know if you’ll agree.

We have an SPCA not far away I am sure I would want to adopt every animal but I can’t do that here.
I love their sleeping position, lying (or is it sitting) on all their legs; the forward upper limbs folded. It warms my heart seeing them in that position.

They are stretching in the sunshine and playing with each other. Yes, the Dude has his paw in the door. He is the black cat.

Cats are wonderful pets that amuse me with their behavior inside the home.
Yes they are great therapy animals. And lots of entertainment.
Especially Burt, Mumps and Bond.
