We went to the club house last night. I managed to grab 30 minute to stay in the Reading Room while the kids were swimming with my husband. I was planning for my son’s Math lesson about Fractions. I never had this quiet time in the Reading Room, as my youngest always wanted to be with me.
It reminded me of the time when I was in school, I always enjoyed going to the library and studying there alone. It was quiet and less distraction from friends and other stuff. It helped me to stay focused on studying. I didn’t fall asleep easily as the bed was not near me too.
Perhaps I will have more quiet time when my youngest grows older, but I appreciate that 30 minute quiet time too.

Same like you, I love to visit library when I was in school.
my wife loves Libraries, every time we travel she wants to stop and visit the library. For me , the books I need are seldom at the library now.
solitude is underrated
Never been to a library But there are enough quiet moments at home.
I miss going to the library. I used to borrow books but I prefer reading them at home. Having a deadline to return the book kept me on track.

Libraries have been my life – I qualified as a professional librarian in 1976 and only retired last year. Much of my time as a librarian was spent in college and university libraries.

Math, Physics and Chemistry are the hard subject for me so I study these hard subject in the library because there is not any people who disturb me and I do not keep cellphone with me when I got for study in library.
