Whenever I would travel, I always try to find the wet market or a big supermarket in my search for dried or preserved fruits and also nuts. In the Thailand market, the photo shows a variety of preserved fruits that I sampled and eventually bought. Dried and preserved fruits are my weakness aside from exotic nuts.

I like fresh fruits better. I would avoid dry fruits and preserved fruits.

The thai markets are something I miss all the time.
In the US, you don’t see the fruit in bowls like this. The fruit has to be sealed in bags or stored in covered bins.
I love dried fruits but they contain too much sugar so I go for the nuts.
I prefer dried fruits to preserved fruits.
I do not care for dried fruits but enjoy!
