(my double edit picture for Albert’s challenge)
In the light
you see the edges of
the growing darkness
the quiet
a tale that is not told.
Leaking around the edges
like water
spilled into
a bowl
that full
rejects the flow
spilling onto the floor
and puddling,
we find nothing. Whisper
and you won’t
hear
the sound
of dripping water
shout
and the sound
will echo
dripping
always dripping
until
the water is gone.

I have to say that this is an impressive post. Both for pictures and poetry.
Btw, If you put keywords in the title, maybe this wonderful work is easier for me to find, Coach.
I thought about adding the keyword. I didn’t but will think about it next time.
I have often been afraid of what I thought I saw in the dark. Hopefully those days are gone.
A friend of mine always says “as humans, we fear the unknown.” Of course, he runs into burning buildings to help people for a living.
I like the image, it made me laugh. Rough night? 😉
The poem is awesome.
The questions were fun, but I answered no to both. But the last was shady, I know as a child I would find shadow monsters… But nothing recently.
🙂 I still sometimes hold my breadth in really dark places. Actually older picture, but trying to follow along with the challenge!
Interesting tidbit there Doc. I would have to take every opportunity to scare you if you were my dad. I am afraid of storms, but not many know that, even in my family.
My kids are too loud to sneak up and scare me!
