Here is an acrylic painting of a Monarch Butterfly that I raised from a Monarch Caterpillar.
In New Zealand they are very easy to raise in the garden by planting Swan plants. Swan plants are a type of Milkweed and there are flowers from South Africa that are also Milkweed.
