The Constanța Casino, located in Constanța, Romania, is an architectural jewel in the art nouveau style, symbol of Constanța, city. Unfortunately, it has slowly become a ruin, a ghostly appearance at the seaside … A story says that this building was built by a grieving father, in his daughter’s memory, who died at the age of 17. The father wanted to give other young people a place of fun and relaxation, which his child could not enjoy anymore.
I do not know how true the legend is, but I hope this casino will be renovated and regain its fame again.

That was nice of him to build that for others. She was very young. The building looks very lonely sitting there.
it is kind of a cool picture with the relic. The story is sad, and the mission to provide fun for kids is important.
but i like old decaying buildings.
There are always legends about old buildings. I don’t know if they are true or not.
sometimes the legends are so much better than the truth.
What a beautiful building even though it is forlorn and abandoned. At least there does not seem to be any graffiti on it. It’s architecture is grand looking and I just love its rounded shape. I surely hope that if and when it is restored that it will not lose the original design…
Authorities have promised to start renovating this building.
Who owns it now? The government? Or is it privately owned?
The casino was “passed” over time from one institution to another, being in the court of local authorities or at the Ministry of Development. It is certain that neither one nor the other did anything to save it.
Lovely building and it would be a shame if it were allowed to be left abandoned.
Many things were destroyed in Romania after the fall of communism in 1989.
Beautiful building. It is a pity that such a historic building collapses.
We all hope that it will be renovated .
This would be gorgeous renovated.
The authorities have promised that the renovation will begin, but we’ll see …
Such beautiful architecture, it’s a pity it was abandoned!
That is right. In its glory times, the casino was the host for the rich of Europe!
