My daily picture – The Lake Chindia today

Now that the city’s excitement has ended, and the petards have calmed down, I I went for a walk with Maya. Destination … Chindia Park. Purpose: to make some new shots with reflections for Thursday Reflections. When we got out of the house it started to snow! With big flakes. It seemed that someone was shaking a pillow full of flakes from the air. It was superb! When we got to the park, the snow had settled in a thin layer on the frozen surface of the lake, so my desire to get a reflection was driven by failure. I had a brief photo session, walked a little around the lake and came back home!

  1. Very nice enchanting park area. We also have the Rideau Canal which is reputed to be the longest skating rink, but since I do not skate I never went on it. It is too bad that the snow had stopped falling as I just love snowfall but at least here early morning we were served also with a short snowfall. My sister was cursing it and I was loving it. Two opposites that still live together.
