Named popular “fairy’s flower”, Purple loosestrife (Rachitan in Romanian) is used in cosmetics to treat irritated skin. It is used in the form of masks, made of fresh juice or highly concentrated infusion, 2 tablespoons sour cream and egg white. The mixture is applied to the face and left for 30 minutes to act, then removed with warm water.
Also, research has shown that this little-known plant is in fact a drug that can not be neglected in combating some very dangerous diseases, such as cancer and viral infections, untreated by modern medicine.
This plant grows naturally in marshlands and is now in full bloom. I’ve taken these pictures in Chindia Park.

I am not sure if we have it here. But the photo is great.
It is native to Europe, Asia, northwest Africa, and southeastern Australia.
Great picture looks like the bees are enjoying flitting around the flowers!
Thank you, Doc! There were a lot of insects flying around these flowers: hoverflies, bees, damselflies. Even spiders have built their webs on this flower.?

Hm! You should try! There are so many possibilities to prepare a natural mask! A mask with infusion of mint and clay is very refreshing for the skin!

What a lovely flower, reminds me a little of my butterfly bush but it looks smaller. Nice color.
It can grow 1–2 m tall. The flowers are, 10–20 mm diameter.
