Black Panther was released early this year and is already listed as the 9th highest ever money making film in world history. All of the reviews I saw gave it at least 4 stars and mostly 5. Our community theater was showing it for free today so I went to see it, expecting to see at least a few cats, or at least catlike creatures. I was disappointed because the most exciting animals depicted in this action film were rhinoceros-like things.
There were two felines in a tree who looked somewhat like the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland, but one of them jumped to the ground and morphed into human form before you could say scat.
The high speed vehicular chases were as good as any I have seen in any movie, and the flying things flew Marvel-ously well. I thought the people acting in the film were well-suited to their roles and performed well. Plot-wise it started out well, too, and was actually engrossing for a while. I thought the film started getting bogged down a bit past the middle, though, and soon after I was just waiting for it to end.
Yes, I know my illustration is not a panther, but I felt more like drawing a cheetah, which is a cat, but one that is more timid and less likely to eat humans than a panther.

Did You Like Black Panther (or if not seen do you think you would?)
I haven’t seen this film, does sound like a good one though. Lovely picture.
Thank you Maggie, most people I’ve spoken with liked it, but I thought they could have done a little better.
I loved it although since then I’ve seen Deadpool 2 & Ant Man & The Wasp, loved them both too!
Paul, I think I will skip the ones with insects!!!
waiting for it to stream on netflix
I expect they will add it soon enough.
I suspect a Q4 timeline, but we shall see…
I really enjoyed Black Panther; it was one of the best Marvels that I seen in a while outside of Spiderman, and Avengers.
Glad you got to see it and liked it, Thomas.
I have not see this one, sorry you did not enjoy.
It really did start out rather well.
