Marigolds are common flowers, yet year after year there seems to be new varieties in this plant. They often say that when you plant marigolds in your garden you have lesser pests. But my marigold has so many mealy bugs on them. Mealy bugs drink the sap of your plants and kills them.
They are such colorful, bright flowers, that it is hard to overlook them. I always put marigolds in the dullest corner of my garden to give it a boost of color and lift.
I also plant these along the fence for some color and brightness. Last year I had a whole bunch of them growing on the sidewalks. People admired them as they walked past.

This is nice, lovely mixed color.
I have a hearth in the garden mainly because of the pests.
Marigolds are beautiful, I don’t have this color.
nice marigolds! We have a sidewalk at the end of our yard that the neighborhood doesn’t want people putting a lot of things on because of snow removal.
Marigolds are a must in my garden. They will start growing in a few months from now.
Don’t they grow all year round? Here they do.
They do not. Your country has flowers that flourish no matter which one’s they are.
Some years ago we bought a pot of marigold that was blooming with lots of flowers. But my wife had forgotten to water it every day. You can guess what happened.
Oh so sad, Marigold do wilt and die quickly. I always leave the pots in plates of water.
Lovely blooms, I have these.
They make the garden so colorful, don’t they?
Accidentally voted you down, so I went back and voted you up.
That happens, no worries, thanks for the visit and the support.
Such a lovely photo for sharing.
Thank you LaJenna, I appreciate your comments.
