Sharing a full photo of my Magnolia tree in my yard. It is about twelve years old and approximately fifteen feet tall. I love the huge white blooms it produces each year. And the tree leaves are the most beautiful dark green and shiny I have ever seen.
Below is a bud photo I shared a few days ago. There will be blooms soon. Tis the season!

Thank you very much, I love this tree.
That tree has grown huge! Amazing how quickly trees grow, but yet they seem to take forever.
Yes it has and it may even be taller. It is in a good spot, gets the morning and all day sunshine. Some trees do take forever.
Yours has pushed out nicely, magnolia trees are supposed to be really wide, right?
Yes I actually have no idea how wide this one is since it grows pretty much by itself, nothing to compare it to. It has plenty of room and is away from the house. The roots can grow into the specific lines if it is too close.
well it is lovely! I was thinking about putting one in the corner of the backyard. Still thinking 🙂
Typo… should have said sewer lines. I don’t think you can go wrong with this tree.
when I lived on the westside, there were magnolias lining the street. they gave a lot of shade in the day and smelled wonderful by night
Oh wow, I would love to have more of these beauties. The blooms are very fragrant and attract the birds.
line a whole street with them- you won’t regret it…
When I win the lottery I will. 🙂
or just get elected to city council. even though that would be a downgrade from Queen of Narnia
Queen of Narnia, I forgot about that title. It should help me go places.
Spring street Onehunga has Magnolia trees lining the street. Very beautiful trees not far from me
That is great Pam, I would like more of these.
I did not know that magnolia could grow so high.
They can grow twice this size if they have enough room.
A little out of context, I just imagined how much I could put bonsai in a yard as large as you have.
Isn’t that the twin brother of Dude and Brendel?
Oh wow, I have plenty of room for bonsai. I suppose they could be twins.
Ahhh… you have awakened my dream…
You are always welcome my friend.
Magnolia has already flourished in our country, dear friend
Yes this is evergreen, so it is green all the time.
It’s an old tree. I guess there will be many colors. The year was rainy.
Yes and it has many more years to grow.
Now I didn’t cheat, I remember this bud!!! hehe
Well good for you. Glad you remember. 🙂
