Sharing a Magnolia bud with today’s Macro Challenge. Soon the tree will be covered in the big saucer sized white blooms. And the birds have already started visiting these buds.
Another tree starting to show off for the spring. And all of the rain has helped it grow and remain healthy. This is why I am thankful for the rain and the sunshine.
More of nature to share from my yard. This tree is on the side of the house that gets the morning sun.It seems to agree with the tree as it continues to grow.

Indeed Doc. I almost missed this little bird hidden away. So cool.
Oops, funny thing, I pulled up my bird post but the comment went here on the Magnolia bud. Things that make you go hmmmm.
I thought you were telling me magnolia buds are called little birds 🙂 no biggie happens!
HA! Not sure how all of that happened, kind of bizarre.
I’ve had the issue where I started to reply to someone and moved on, the next comment ended up replying to the first comment. It does from time to time happen.
I had seen the magnolia button when it was full of seeds. I see it for the first time in the early stages. Thank you for sharing this post with Carol.
You are welcome, I thought is was an interesting find. More of nature lessons.
This is the first time I has seen a magnolia bud up close.
Oh that is great Dawn, we can learn from each other.
What a fantastic shot!
I even had to learn from the sacred geometry that formed that Magnolia bud.
Thank you my friend. I cannot wait for the big white blooms. I only learned because it is in my own yard. Good to see you.
You are always welcome, my friend.
Hey, you have many valuable lessons there.
A wonderful shot. I learned a lot from my experience.
