Magnolia blooms on my tree are the size of a saucer. The reason for the name, saucer-sized blooms. I have the white blooms on my Magnolia tree. They are just starting to bloom. I caught this bloom in the bud stage.
The magnolia is a favorite. I have talked about it before, it is an evergreen tree. Shiny green leaves year round and now but white blooms all over. I am not surprised the birds enjoy it as well.

These magnolias are somewhat different than those with us … they have different shapes of flowers

I love these both in bud and bloom form. They are wonderful to see on the walk – there are three Magnolia’s on the way we take!
