Ordinary gourd (Onopordum acanthium), also called donkey thorn, donkey thistle.
The donkey thorns originally occur in Europe, North Africa and Asia. Later, it was transported to North America and Australia, where its rapid spread became a serious problem for agriculture. It is spread on dry and rocky places along roads and buildings.
