Today I visited the park in Torrevieja Spain. There are many ducks in it. I decided, using the 70-300 lens, to make Duck Portraits. I was horribly surprised by a Musky Duck that attacked me. Without challenging her with anything. When I got home, I found that I had bruises on my right foot. I was afraid of her aggression.
The others were kind to me and took some portraits.

Fantastic portraits of ducks. I did not know that ducks were attacking until one attacked me.
I already saw a few kinds of ducks in our place but I could not tell one from the other. Your photos are really impressive!
I also do not know the different breeds.
Great pictures, I haven’t seen the Musky Duck before.
I did not know that that was said, and that they could be aggressive.
So beautiful photos of various ducks. Nice
I wanted to shoot in pet animals. Now with the new lens, this is possible. Thanks.
I enjoy some moments and seal them in pictures.
What a beautiful photo exhibition, thank you very much.
I’m honored Robin Biznis for taking the post as a photo exhibition.
I wasn’t sure about ducks but geese and swans can tear off a human arm.
I watched in horror as an oriental man teased a black swan with no mercy, the black swan went for the man as he kicked the swan with his foot. I caught the picture. I thought under the circumstances the black swan was more than tolerant.
The oriental man was fortunate not to be in hospital
I did not even think that something like that could happen. I photographed the peacocks and left. As I walked past her, she started to sigh. He went after me and started attacking me. I’ve been there many times, and I’ve always fed them. Perhaps she had a bad day.
I have already heard that they can be aggressive … I do not have such experiences … the pictures are wonderful
I do not wish you such an experience. It was terrible. I was afraid.
I can’t really tell between the ducks … I eat duck meat but not a huge fan …
I think goose taste better :p
Perhaps. I love peacock meat. It is available in stores.
Really!? Peacock meat?
Haven’t tried it before … we don’t have that here
Yes, I knew ducks can be sometimes aggressive. Take care of your injury. I must admit that I have never seen those types of ducks here in Canada. Wild turkeys yes but not ducks with pink and red outcrops on their heads. Our ducks here are usually plain patchy brown and some are very colorful with green and black and white. Anyway, the pictures that you took at the risk of being mauled are simply amazing.
It is a pleasure for me to have liked you.
Hope it is nothing severe. Take care. The beautiful duck should have been in a bad mood.
So she seems to have had a bad mood. And I was there to test it on myself.
Always enjoy your excellent photos, these should be in a magazine! Beautiful ducks.
I try to make the most of my opportunities.
Beautiful ducks , I love them , thanks for sharing
I also love ducks, despite the incident today
