As I said many, many times, macro photography is one in which the size of the subject on the sensor is equal to or greater than its life size.
Small things are all over us but they are not imposing and do not attract our attention because they are difficult to see with the naked eye. Things change if we look at them through the camera lens. We can discover amazing things, like the one in the photo above. A beautiful pink flower, no larger than 2mm. It is the first time I have seen the flower of this weed. I think (I’m not sure) it’s yellow fox tail, an annual summer weed.
I share these photos with Macro Monday Challenge.

Soo wonderful small plant
Amazing plant and wonderful macro..
All I can tell you is that it is some kind of grass. You probably knew that. Other than that I don’t know. I don’t even know the ones around here.
Google calls it soft wheat.
Lovely photo and it does not look like a weed.
I have never heard of yellow foxtail. I researched and it does look like your stunning photo.
aka Setaria pumila
It is similar to green fox tail (Setaria viridis) but it has a shorter spike
As I always say many times, your macro images are very charming! Do you not yet believe?
I can only agree you, Albert. Her macro are just charming.
Thank you very much! These wonderful small things are “guilty” of the charm of my photographs.
Thank you for supporting my opinion, Fortune. You must be full of Divine blessings.
How could I contradict you? I always agree with what you say! ?
Besides, there’s no point in contradicting me, right? Because you know that I’m right, and you also know that I’m a demigod.
I almost forgot that you are a demigod! Thank you for remembering me. ?Eventually I will have to admit that my macro photos are technically ok.
I hope you don’t forget again, or the gods up there will steal your camera.
I won’t forget! I promise you !
